Everyone is a creator. Everyone is creative.

Pepole who do not engage in the traditional arts might be wary of calling themselves artists.  They might perceive creativity as something extraordinary well beyond on their capabilities and as a calling for the special few who are born with these gifts

Fortunately, this is not the case.

Creativity is not a rare ability. It is not difficult to access. Creativity is a fundamental aspect of being human.  It’s our birthright. And it’s for all of us.

Creativity doesn’t exclusively relate to making architecture, music, films, dance, novels or art.  We all, no matter what we do, engage with creativity on a daily basis.

To live in a state of creativity is a way of being in the world because creativity is where our wellness, joy, purpose and happiness resides.

This way of perceiving, paying attention in a particular way adjusting sensitivity and attitudes in order helps tap into a more subtle awareness. Discovering and exploring that soft and subtle inner voice, helps drive us forward. This is where Modern Meditation based practices come in. Using these techniques combined with carefully designed exercises, you will discover how to shift perspective, open up to deeper inner creativity that is constantly  looking for expression through you into the world.

You exist as a creative being in a creative universe. Collaborate with it all, get into the flow and thrive.

Creativity is a three-part process which can be enhanced and explored.

Visit Mick in his workshop as he talks about his experience of using and enhancing creativity as a skill.

What’s the link between meditation and creativity?

Meditation is not something you do but something you are. So the only skill you will ever need in meditation is the ability to shift your perspective. This means that whether you are aware of it or not, awareness is happening now. It just is, constantly. Awareness is your essence, your source, underneath all your experiences, thoughts, feelings and actions. When, through these workshop techniques you combine these new insights with specialised active exercises you will discover:

  1. A profound personal empowerment, born from immersing oneself fully in the present moment.

  2. An embracing engaged flowing wholeness, cultivating qualities of equanimity and the art of remaining present amid any situation.

  3. Letting go of the need for control and meticulous planning. Instead, attune yourself to your intuition, trusting that you possess all you need to meet the demands of the moment.

  4. Learn to confront doubt, silence the inner critic, and forge ahead with unwavering courage.

  5.  Embrace vulnerability and the unknown; they are the gateways to breakthroughs, moments of joy, and deep insights.

These workshops offer more than a creative experience; it’s a new evolution of awakened living.

Discover a centered yet expansive outlook on life through active meditation within our tasks and exercises. These practices become tools you can apply in your daily life, transforming every circumstance and experience into opportunities rather than challenges.

Join us and let your creativity transform your world.

In these workshops, you will explore and utilise the same meditation based creative flow techniques Mick has developed over his career as an architect, author and artist. Here are some examples of Mick’s current adventures in creative flow…

The beanddo Modern Meditation teaching uses four powerful interconnecting practises: ATTENTION, AWARENESS, ATTITUDE and ACTION.

The four A’s help you rediscover a deeper state of awareness-shaped perception. The term rediscover: here is important. You have already come hard-wired with these skills. Over the years, you have unconsciously narrowed and distorted these skills from open, free-flowing creative perception to a distorted focus shaped by a lens of habitual thought, feelings and action.

We arrive at a new place in the world where what we do feels meaningful, purposeful, and real. This is where you readily tap into your own sources of creativity, insight, and curiosity. It’s where every action you take has a rightness and authenticity to it. With practice, this new sense of flowing will expand, enabling you to hold space for others, too. This is real leadership.
