Mick on His Teaching
“I have been teaching yoga and meditation for over 35 years. This ancient 5,000-year-old practice has never been more relevant than it is today. Stress, anxiety, anger, doubt, and fear arise when we want the present moment to be something it’s not. Yoga and meditation helps us see through that illusion. When we learn to be fully present — to be in the world but not of it — we discover the deep, inner stillness of NOW. This is where creativity, joy, and real solutions arise. This is where life begins to change from the inside out.”
Mick has taught and spoken about yoga at conferences and workshops across India, Europe, and the United States. He has led classes and workshops at major UK festivals as well as international yoga festivals and conferences. His groundbreaking sessions have also reached academic institutions, businesses, healthcare settings, and specialist care environments. His work continues to inspire diverse communities and open new pathways for wellbeing and personal growth.
Why beanddo™
Modern Yoga and Meditation
Watch Mick explain the four skills:
The Four Core Skills
You don’t need to master postures, be super flexible, sit for long hours, or remember complex mantras. Over decades of practice and teaching, Mick has distilled yoga and meditation into four essential, accessible skills.
Follow these simple techniques which will help you feel the benefits of yoga quickly and effectively.
1. Attention
Strengthen the ability to switch on, focus, and stay present. Learn to manage distraction and direct your mind with ease.
2. Awareness
Open to deeper emotional, intuitive, and creative intelligence. Notice what is happening within and around you — without strain.
3. Attitude
Shape mindset, expectation, and inner posture. Build resilience, soften unhelpful habits, and meet life with confidence and steadiness.
4. Action
Access insight, flow, and purpose. Bring presence into everything you do so your actions are aligned, inspired, and effective.
