New for 2024 Mick will be hosting a range of very special Modern Meditation based workshops that will help you open to inspiration, creativity, growth and change.
Shifting the focus from rigid outcomes and expectations to the delightful realm of process, creative play, and non-judgmental self-observation. The aim is to introduce techniques and mindsets that countless artists, authors and designers have harnessed to transform their work and lives.
In these dynamic flow drawing and writing workshops, you’ll receive the support and tools you need to:
* Uncover a creative voice that’s uniquely yours.
* Tune into your intuitive perception, sidelining the mind’s self-critique.
* Follow your energy, embracing what feels right rather than what seems conventional.
* Conquer creative blocks, fear of failure, or self-doubt by uncovering their hidden messages.
* Release your actions as creative, intelligent expressions, opening doors to deeper insights.
* Embark on a transformative journey focusing on process rather than product as a genuine path to conscious awakening.
Don’t miss out on this extraordinary opportunity to awaken your inner artist and transform your creative journey. Join Mick Timpson in 2024 and let your creativity flow.
Meditation is not something you do but something you are. So the only skill you will ever need in meditation is the ability to shift your perspective. This means that whether you are aware of it or not, awareness is happening now. It just is, constantly. Awareness is your essence, your source, underneath all your experiences, thoughts, feelings and actions. When, through these workshop techniques you combine these new insights with specialised active exercises you will discover:
These workshops offer more than a creative experience; it’s a new evolution of awakened living.
Discover a centered yet expansive outlook on life through active meditation within our tasks and exercises. These practices become tools you can apply in your daily life, transforming every circumstance and experience into opportunities rather than challenges.
In these workshops, you will explore and utilise the same meditation based creative flow techniques Mick has developed over his career as an architect, author and artist. Here are some examples of Mick’s current adventures in creative flow…

The beanddo Modern Meditation teaching uses four powerful interconnecting practises: ATTENTION, AWARENESS, ATTITUDE and ACTION.
The four A’s help you rediscover a deeper state of awareness-shaped perception. The term rediscover: here is important. You have already come hard-wired with these skills. Over the years, you have unconsciously narrowed and distorted these skills from open, free-flowing creative perception to a distorted focus shaped by a lens of habitual thought, feelings and action.
We arrive at a new place in the world where what we do feels meaningful, purposeful, and real. This is where you readily tap into your own sources of creativity, insight, and curiosity. It’s where every action you take has a rightness and authenticity to it. With practice, this new sense of flowing will expand, enabling you to hold space for others, too. This is real leadership.
